If you want a big city, you can reach Malmö by car in 35 minutes. You have a very popular Café down here "Olof Viktors" which is highly recommended. A few miles away you have Ale's stones, Kåseberga and several lakes for both swimming and fishing. You can even take the ferry from Ystad to the small cozy island of Bornholm.
