Bell View Holiday Home Sheep's Head is a wonderful, detached holiday home set in an absolutely stunning location in West Cork. From this spacious holiday home on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula you will be treated to sea views over Dunmanus Bay and across to the scenic Mizen Head Peninsula.

Sheep’s Head Peninsula in West Cork lies between Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay, a peaceful and unspoilt peninsula with some of the most spectacular scenery and walking trails in Ireland.

Bell View Holiday Home Sheep's Head is a spacious and modern detached holiday home providing sea views from many of the beautiful rooms. The modern open plan kitchen and dining area is well equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland

From the kitchen table or outside seating area you and your guests will be treated to views over the ample lawns and on to the Atlantic Ocean. Glass French doors lead out to a paved patio area with outside furniture perfect for alfresco dining.

Enclosed garden with garden furniture is available for our guests. There is a shed just outside the back door with a tumble dryer and spare garden furniture and barbecue equipment.

Outside this bright and airy holiday home there is an acre of land split between front and rear gardens. There is a small stream which borders the property on the west and North sides which whilst small, must be considered when the house is occupied by small children.

Private parking beside this holiday home is available for two cars easily (but up to four cars could be accommodated without too much difficulty).

WIFI is available.

This spectacular holiday home also accepts pets upon request. Dogs are welcome at this holiday home (but they must be kept on a lead at all times as the local fields have farm animals grazing and the boundary fence is not dogproof)!

No smoking.

Local Area & Tourist Attractions

This beautifully designed holiday home is in the seaside village of Kilcrohane and is 15km from Durrus and 20km from the vibrant harbour town of Bantry. Located on part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, this luxurious holiday home is also 200 metres from the local village shop, pub and church.

Things to do in the local area:
- Sheep’s Head Way walking route which trails the entire coastline of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula
- Peakeen Ridge Loop Walk with spectacular views across Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay
- Kilcrohane is also popular with cyclists of all abilities who enjoy the quiet beauty of the roads and the spectacular hairpin bends that lead down from Seefin to Kilcrohane village.

- The Old Creamery is home to a lovely café and restaurant run by the O’Donovan family. This homely café and restaurant is popular with hill walkers as is the local Bridgeview Restaurant

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
